NEWS | Nabiax data center in Spain grows to 22MW

Nabiax, is expanding its facility in Alcalá de Henares, Spain. The expansion aims to increase the capacity of the data center by 47 percent, from 15.1MW to 22MW, by the end of the year. The CEO of Nabiax, Emilio Díaz, expressed their commitment to becoming a leading player in the sector and reinforcing Spain’s position as a digital hub. After completing this phase, Nabiax plans to undertake three additional expansions, with the goal of eventually reaching 100MW of capacity. The Alcalá data center has Tier IV certifications in design, construction, and sustainable operation. In a recent move to focus on its Spanish market growth, Nabiax sold its 11 Latin-American data centers to Actis for approximately $500 million. Currently, Nabiax operates a total of 26MW in Spain, spread across multiple locations.
